Featured Business: Shop Liberato
We're so excited to launch this next series of interviews, Featured Businesses, with Victoria of Shop Liberato.
Victoria describes Shop Liberato as bold, feminine, and free. We love her unique handmade jewelry, willingness to be vulnerable behind the scenes, and the way she supports and advocates for other women. Enjoy!
What do you specialize in? I curate and create jewelry with emotional importance through designs that resonate and inspire. I love working with gold, brass, and unique accent materials to create things that will add shine and personality to an outfit, but more importantly, will become a symbolically significant collection piece.
What inspires you? Recently I have been drawing a lot of inspiration from the weather and transitioning seasons and you can definitely see that in my designs. What pretty much remains constant though, is the girl I’m creating for. She is powerful, she is raw, she is real, she is growing through her trials and becoming increasingly aware of her worth.
What keeps you going? When I get DMs from customers about the role my products play in their healing journey or path to self love, it seriously sets my soul on fire. The connections I have made with women through my business absolutely fuels me.

What’s a new business skill you are learning? I am beginning to look into wholesaling to make my products available at a few retail stores. I’m nervous in the best way! It comes with a lot of documents and selling processes I’ve never done before. Learning new things is honestly my favorite part of owning a business.
What is something you want to improve on? I desperately need some structure! I can so clearly see the benefits of working within specific hours of the day and putting work away when the work day is over but it’s soooo hard. Because I love it so much, sometimes it doesn’t even feel like work and I justify working late into the night. I’m working on setting (AND KEEPING) boundaries for myself and my work life so I can maintain a healthy relationship with my business.
Shameless Plug: How have you used Backdrop Stock in your business? I looove using BackDrop Stock images for social and email campaigns, but my favorite project has been for our Sexual Assault Awareness campaign. We used it as a background to promote awareness on sexual assault statistics.
