Meet graphic designer Brandi, of Branding by Brandi. We were lucky enough to meet her at Alt Summit and think she's so fantastic and talented. Brandi describes her design vibe as colorful, simple, and timeless. Her specialty is creating websites and logos. Read her interview below. 

What inspires your work? Nature inspires my work and creative concepting process. A lot of color combinations and design ideas I create what I see in nature around me!

Did you go to school or are you self-taught? I'm a proud graduate of the University of Baltimore's M.A. Publication Design program (plenty of school loans came with that). So yes, I learned most of my technical skills in school.

What program do you use the most for your work? You can catch me with Adobe InDesign and Illustrator always on my laptop. Those are my design BFFs.

What keeps you going? Knowing that I'm creating an opportunity for myself and my family. Hey future kiddos, momma is creating a business legacy for you!

What new business skill are you working on that you're excited about? I learned a bit more about stop motion graphics at Alt Summit and I've been obsessed with it since. Watch out world; Branding by Brandi will soon offer animated and stop motion graphics as a service to clients.

What is something you want to improve on? I would love to improve on my ability to create illustrations and vector art. I'm currently enrolled in a few online courses.
